As you probably guessed, I have been struggling with food and emotions over the past week. I came across a saying on the internet the really resonates, “Eat to Fuel your Body, Not to Feed your Emotions” When I stepped back and thought about it really hits home.
Its crazy when you think about it, no amount of food can solve your worrying. If anything, this just adds an extra headache to deal with.
I feel much better posting this. I really do have to get back to posting more.
Update on my WW weekly weigh in. When I went to weigh last Saturday, I was up 2.1 lbs. There was no surprise there.
When I was doing well at losing weight a couple of years ago, I knew exactly what foods worked for me. I tried many of the same meals this time around at it just isn’t doing it for me. So, lately I have been trying to come up with new meal ideas that I won’t get bored with and with what I enjoy.
None of us are perfect, we just have to keep at it!
